On Friday, May 18, Gaithersburg Police responded to a report of vandalism at 328 Main St., the former Yoyogi Sushi location. According to Officer Dan Lane, this appeared to be “a simple vandalism, where an unknown suspect(s) broke the window.”

Then on Sunday, May 20 at 11:23 p.m., “police responded to 328 Main St. for the report of a commercial burglary. An unknown suspect entered the business and vandalized it by breaking the windows. Gaithersburg Police Detectives are following up and investigating it as well as the prior vandalism,” Officer Lane noted.

Also on Sunday, May 20, 11:20 p.m., a theft from auto was reported in the 400 block of Market Street East. Known suspect entered the vehicle and removed property.
