Police Request Assistance

Gaithersburg City Police are asking residents for assistance in the case of an electric shopping cart that was stolen from the Kentlands Giant on March 29. Police located the shopping cart on the basketball courts in the area of Main Street and Golden
Ash Way. Police are asking residents to review their home security camera footage from March 29 between 3:50 and 5 p.m. If you find footage of a shopping cart being driven down the street, please share video with police using a new system called

Robbery

On March 31, a woman arrived at her home in the 600 block of Highland Ridge Avenue in Quince Orchard Park. As she was entering the house, a young man approached her from behind and forcibly took her purse. He then ran away. Gaithersburg City Police placed a lookout for a black male between 17 and 20 years old, 5-foot-7, between 165 and 170 pounds, and clean- shaven. The case is under investigation.
