MBT Announces Celebrity Guest Mother Gingers
Leaders from the Montgomery County arts and education communities appear as celebrity guest Mother Gingers in the Metropolitan Ballet Theatre “Nutcracker,” beginning Dec. 1 at Montgomery College’s Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center. Look for Gazelle Hashemian, BlueFlower, arts supporter at Holton Arms (Dec. 1, 7:30 p.m.); Tony Spearman-Leach, director, Montgomery Community Media (Dec. 2, 12 p.m.); Michael J. MBT’s “Nutcracker” is a long-running Montgomery County holiday tradition, but new this year is “The Nutcracker Suite.” Perfect for little ones ages 3 to 6, this shorter-length version of the holiday classic will be performed Dec. 16 and 17 in the MBT Black Box Studio Theater, 220 Perry Parkway, Gaithersburg.
