Foundry Fitness Plans Grand Opening

On May 11, eight years to the day since Foundry Fitness first opened its doors in 2011, the gym will host a grand opening celebration for the public in its bigger, all-new location in Kentlands Market Square from 4 to 7 p.m. The event will offer a first look at the upgraded space and give new members the opportunity to meet the fitness studio’s four trainers—owner Eric Pellicci, Laura Geraghty, Simon Agustinus and Amanda Flood—and learn about Foundry Fitness’ unique programming.

A weight training-based, high-intensity fitness program, Foundry Fitness combines proper body sculpting with high-intensity interval training and cardio. Classes are scheduled seven days a week and each one is designed to push participants to their own individual fitness limits using varied relative intensity techniques, motivating trainers and high-energy music, said Pellicci.

The new gym at 205 Market St. West was designed with one major goal in mind, Pellicci said: creating an even better product and experience for members. Foundry Fitness is currently offering a special price of $119 per month for unlimited classes—prospective members can also attend a free trial class.
