If you’re looking for spring, head to the Kentlands Mansion this Friday, March 1. That’s when “The Kentlands Flower Show—A Fine Art Photography Exhibit” opens, grown through the creativity of award-winning photographers Jaree Donnelly, Craig Higgins and Marge Wasson.

The three exhibit jointly as the COMPOSITE Fine Art Photographers. Donnelly, Higgins and Wasson bring 50 photographs that celebrate spring to the mansion. Through thematic and color groupings, they recreate the magic of flower shows that take place each spring.

You can meet the artists and enjoy artists talks on Sunday, March 10, noon to 2 p.m. at a free artists reception. The exhibit runs March 1 through April 28. Kentlands Mansion hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please call ahead (301.258.6425) to confirm availability.
