9.7.18, intersection of MD-355 and Worthington Boulevard—assault and robbery

At about 1:30 a.m. on Sept. 7, an adult male called 911 to report that he had been stabbed and robbed at the intersection of MD-355 and Worthington Boulevard. The man told officers that he had been approached by a male, 16-19 years old, who produced a knife and demanded money. A scuffle ensued, and the victim was stabbed in the abdomen. The victim was transported to the Shock Trauma Unit where he was treated. As of Sept. 21, no suspects had been developed.

9.8.18, 24800 block of Ridge Road—burglary

9.19.18, Korey Joseph Shorb of New Market was arrested and changed with Second Degree Sex Assault in a case that dates from 2010.

9.19.18, I-70 in the New Market area— drug and weapons violations

On Sept. 19, troopers from the Frederick Barrack conducted a traffic stop on a passenger vehicle for a safety equipment violation on I-70 in the New Market area. A probable cause search was conducted on the vehicle, where a loaded handgun, multiple baggies of heroin packaged for distribution, marijuana, and paraphernalia were located.

Arrested and charged were the following individuals: Kisura Sadiki Johnson B/F 21 Y/O, Baltimore, MD. Queontay Dayquon Fortune B/M 21 Y/O, Baltimore, MD.

Both subjects were charged with multiple drug and weapons violations and transported to Frederick County Central Booking.
