The store sold a little bit of everything and for a long time offered a popular sandwich and deli counter. Locals relied on it for last-minute items, as well as beer and wine. Urbana Orthodontics Establishes ‘A Smile for Sally’ Program

Urbana Orthodontics, with the help of Rick and Scott Miller, recently launched the “A Smile for Sally” program, which will provide free orthodontic care for two people per year. Sally Miller was a receptionist at Urbana Orthodontics before she lost her battle with cancer in August 2017.

Urbana Orthodontics explained the inspiration for the program on its Facebook page: “Sally’s compassion for others has been inspirational. She was an advocate for the underdog; perhaps someone who is being bullied in school, has low self-esteem, or someone who needs some help with their smile, but it is not financially possible. With this in mind, we are pleased to announce a program named in her honor called ‘A Smile for Sally.’”

The program name is also in tribute to Sally Miller. “Her contagious laugh and natural ability to make others smile is what we will remember most about her,” according to the post.

Urbana Orthodontics is located at 3500 Campus Dr., Suite 104. For more information, visit www.urbanaortho.com.
