Jasmine Mediterranean Grill to Open in November
The iconic Jasmine flower that flourishes in the warmer Mediterranean climate is the inspiration behind the name of this family-owned restaurant looking to make its soft-opening in CasaBella Commons in early November. Look forward to enjoying your favorite classic Mediterranean delights such as tabuleh, falafel, kibbeh, hummus, grape leaves, and chicken and lamb shwarma. In addition, Jasmine will be featuring some new delights to discover such as a dessert by the name of Knafeh, an appetizer dip called M’ahamara, and a chicken dish called Mskhan, just to name a few.
“Everything will be homemade and 100 percent fresh,” owner and chef Mr. Kouja emphasized, and “all meats will have no hormones and no antibiotics and wherever possible, organic ingredients will be used.” Initially Jasmine will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. They will also feature a small market and takeout section. Visit their Facebook Page: Jasmine Al-Sham Mediterranean Grill & Market. Jasmine’s is located at 3532-B Urbana Pike, 301.363.5788.

The Kyo Sushi restaurant will be opening in mid-November in CasaBella Commons. The Chen family who own and operate Kyo Sushi are residents of the Villages of Urbana. Their full and extensive menu is located on their website, www.kyosushimd.com, and they will be open seven days a week with very generous hours.
They will be offering dine-in as well as takeout. Their address is 3532A Urbana Pike, and their telephone number is 301.798.8415.
