La Mezcla Latin Night Brings Dance to Greene Turtle

La Mezcla Latin Night held its grand opening event Feb. 13 at the Greene Turtle, 3501 John Simmons St., Suite 101A. Salsa lessons were given by Ardiente Dance Company as DJ Hercules played a Latin mix. Ardiente Dance Company and Irving & Martha from Ferocity performed. Look for La Mezcla every second and fourth Wednesday at the Greene Turtle.

Urbana Library Farmers Market to Feature More Food Trucks

Opening day for the Urbana Library Farmers Market will be earlier this year on May 5, and the market will run through Oct. 27. New food trucks are being interviewed, with a decision anticipated soon. Cinco de Mayo Opening Soon
