Sweet Babe’s to Add Apple Dumplings

Mark your calendars for Nov. 16. That’s the day that Sweet Babe’s Creamery, 3534B Urbana Pike in Casabella Commons, will begin serving apple dumplings. Nov. 16 is also the start of cool weather hours when Babe’s will only be open on weekends.

Pumpernickel + Rye Anticipates November Soft Opening

Sisters Megan Hook and Amy B. Nesbit are planning a soft opening for their new Pumpernickel + Rye deli and market, located at 3538 Urbana Pike next door to Casabella Commons, on Saturday, Nov. 9. The renovated 100-year-old farmhouse features a dedicated scratch kitchen that will use only local ingredients and responsibly sourced meat and seafood. You’ll find organic coffee and espresso, sandwiches, salads and soups, as well as a deli case with meats—pastrami, roast beef, brisket, turkey, and pork shoulder—made in-house.

Style Station Completes Makeover

When you drop by for your own personal makeover at Style Station, 3526 Worthington Boulevard in the live-work units, check out the salon’s physical “updo.” Renovations were complete on Oct. 8. Drop by to check out the salon’s new, fresh look.

Sage Welcomes New DPT

Amelia Iams, doctor of physical therapy (DPT), joined Sage Physical Therapy & Wellness this month. An experienced physical therapist, Iams is a certified dry needler, certified kinesiotaper and passionate proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) practitioner and educator. Sage Physical Therapy & Wellness is located at 3536 Urbana Pike in Casabella Commons.
