Courier Helps Students Find Lodging

Dear Editor,

I would like to thank The Town Courier for publishing my information. I am a local coordinator with Horizons du Monde in France. Horizons du Monde specializes in sending exchange students to the U.S. for educational purposes. The main focus is to strengthen their English skills and to live the American way of life in the U.S. During their visits, students will stay with a local American host family. The students who come are background checked, fully insured and have their own spending money. The 21 students who are coming for one week beginning on Feb. 27 are coming from the same school in France with their English teacher and headmaster.

I am delighted to have two wonderful host families from Urbana. These two families read about the hosting opportunity published the first of January in The Town Courier. There are government regulations to find the host families now so this was very helpful.

I appreciate The Town Courier for being such a great resource for the community!

Sincerely,

Page Klosowski, New Market resident

Nora’s Charm

Dear Editor,

I really liked Nora’s article about Penny Theaters in the Courier. Of course she writes so well and covered all the history both general and local as well as conveying the ambience of the shows. Thank you, Nora!
